Each hitch cargo carrier is constructed of an aluminum alloy composition and touched with a powder coated black finish making the carrier lightweight and protecting it from rust and corrosion. Comes standard to fit a 2" receiver hitch (how can I tell my hitch size?), but can easily be converted to fit 1-1/4" receivers with a conversion bar kit available below. The kit includes a 32" long, 1-1/4" square steel tube assembly with a powder coated finish, two supporting L-brackets, and two hardened steel bolts. Conversion process is simply the removal of four centered bolts and old bar followed by the installation of the new bar and two new bolts.
